A goat in Saudi Arabia has given birth to a quadruplets and its owner said it was one of the rarest case in the world, Ajel newspaper reported on Saturday.
The four lambs were born in a good health in the central town of Onaiza on Monday and their mother is also in a good shape, the paper said.
“It was a natural delivery without any vet intervention…all the four babies are in a good health,” said the goat owner, Mohammed Al-Mushaileh.
“I was very surprised when I saw them…It is a very rare case here and one of the rarest cases in the world…this goat had delivered twice before and there were no signs in its last pregnancy that it would give birth to quadruplets.”
Ajel did not identify the lucky father.
