Government of Yemen informs UN Secretary General about Houthi crime in Taiz

The government of Yemen has sent a letter to the UN Security Council to detail the crimes committed by Houthi militias and forces of former president Ali Abdulla Saleh against civilians in Taiz province.
Yemeni Minister of Human Rights Izzeldin Al Asbahi told the official Yemeni News Agency that the letter also detailed Houthi crimes, including the recent carnage in which 30 civilians were martyred and 70, mostly women and children, were injured.
Yemeni Vice-President meets Saudi envoy
Khalid Bahah, Yemeni Vice-President and Prime Minister, met Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Al Jaber in Riyadh on Thursday and discussed with him bilateral ties and developments in Yemen.
Bahah applauded the support extended to Yemen by the Saudi leadership, government and people and said his government was keen on maintaining peace and easing the suffering of the Yemeni people, caused by the Houthi militias and Saleh forces.
Yemeni human rights minister meets Dutch ambassador
Yemeni Minister of Human Rights, Ezzedine Al Asbahi, on Thursday met with Ambassador of the Netherlands to Yemen, Robert Petrie, the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, reported.
During the meeting, they discussed the human rights situation in Yemen.
According to SPA, the Dutch ambassador condemned the systematic crimes being committed by the Houthi militia and the coup Houthi rebel group and militia loyal to the ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh against unarmed civilians in various cities in Yemen.
