Groom stabbed at wedding in Saudi

A Saudi groom was stabbed at his wedding in the Gulf kingdom but doctors managed to save his life, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

The groom was just leaving the wedding party to go with his bride when he had an argument with a guest, who stabbed him three times at the gate of the wedding hall in the southern Saudi town of Samitah, Sabq said.

The groom was rushed to hospital where doctors raced against time to save his life, the paper said without giving further details of the incident.
