Hamed bin Zayed visits injured UAE officers

Sheikh Hamed visited those admitted in Vivantes, Godeshohe and BGU Murnau hospitals in Berlin, Bonn and Munich. (Al Bayan)

Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, visited UAE Armed Forces' personnel injured taking part in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's ‘Operation Restoring Hope’ in Yemen and who are receiving treatment in German hospitals.

Sheikh Hamed visited those admitted in Vivantes, Godeshohe and BGU Murnau hospitals in Berlin, Bonn and Munich.

During his meeting with the injured and their families, Sheikh Hamed was reassured about their health conditions. The medical staff in-charge of their rehabilitation also briefed him on the nature of the injuries.

Sheikh Hamed conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the injured and their families, wishing them health, wellness and a speedy recovery.

He also hailed their heroic actions in Yemen, when he was briefed about the several humanitarian and military tasks and duties undertaken by the UAE forces in Yemen.

The injured expressed their pride in the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa, commending the solidarity shown by the UAE government and people to them, stressing their solid and strong will, resolve and determination to carry on humanitarian and military tasks and duties in Yemen.

Sheikh Hamed was accompanied by Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, and other officials.
