He tries to enter Grand Mosque on bicycle

A man tried to enter the Grand Mosque in Saudi Arabia with a bicycle but he was stopped by the mosque guards, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The man, who was wearing normal clothes, told guards that he wanted to pray inside but was afraid his bicycle could be stolen if left outside.

“The guards told him that he could not take the bicycle inside because it is a sacred place. They turned him away,” Makka daily said.

The Grand Mosque (Masjid Al Haram) in the Western town of Makkah is the world’s largest mosque and surrounds Islam’s holiest place, the Kaaba.
