Here's why you should let your kids play 'Angry Birds'

The Finnish makers of the popular Angry Birds game say they are using the product to introduce the Nordic country's educational system to China.

Rovio says the Angry Birds Playground platform attempts to instill fun and motivation into learning such subjects as language, mathematics and music.

The company said on Monday it has signed a preliminary agreement to create Angry Birds learning facilities in China, with the first to open in Shanghai.

Rovio says that the new export product is based on Finland's national kindergarten curriculum and was developed in cooperation with educational experts at the University of Helsinki.
