A Saudi man appeared to have developed an eerie hobby—digging graves and smashing skeletons. But his talents came to an end when he was seized by the Gulf kingdom’s religious police this week.
Acting on a tip-off, members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice found the man inside a cemetery in the Western town of Makkah. When he saw them, he made no attempt to run away.
“They caught him digging graves, pulling the dead’s bones out and smashing them…they arrested him for investigation,” Sabq daily said on Tuesday.
