Horse killed on road during TV programme

A thoroughbred Arabian horse was killed after it was knocked over by a car in Kuwait during the shooting of a TV programmme marking the Gulf country’s national day.
 
A team from the official Kuwaiti TV was shooting the programme when the black royal horse hired by the channel shot off its trainer and ran across the road.
 
“The horse headed straight towards a speeding car, which rammed into it…the impact was so strong that the horse died instantly,” Alwatan daily said.
