Indebted Kuwaiti wife offers to sell kidney

A Kuwaiti woman posted a large board on a public road in the oil-rich Gulf emirate, saying she is offering her kidney for sale for KD200,000 (Dh2.4 million).

The unidentified woman said she wanted to sell her kidney after debt accumulated on her and her husband, according to the Kuwaiti daily Alanba.

The board read:”for sale…a Kuwaiti woman’s kidney for KD200,000…the reason is because of accumulating debt on me and my husband.”
