Infertile Saudi woman has quintuplets

A Saudi woman gave birth to quintuplets after five years of infertility and a delighted father said he had not expected such a surprise.

The woman gave birth to three boys and two girls in a Cesarean operation at hospital in the Southern Asir province, according to ‘Sabq’ daily.

Doctors said the mother and the five babies were in good health but that they would remain in hospital for a few days.

“I had not expected such a pleasant surprise…I had prayed to God to give me a baby after five years of marriage,” ‘Sabq’ quoted the father Musfer Al Qahtani as saying.

“Despite the high living costs, I am very happy and I pray to God that I will be able to make them happy.”
