Jet-ski on flooded street in Saudi

A Saudi man took advantage of heavy rain that lashed most parts of the Gulf Kingdom this week to practice his jet ski-riding hobby on a key street in the capital Riyadh.

A brief YouTube film showed the man was cruising the water which appeared to have formed a small lagoon around power pylons in a residential area.

However, some viewers have raised doubts about whether the video was shot in the UAE or Saudi, saying they have spotted a UAE flag in the background.

Riyadh, with a population of more than five million, was one of the areas worst hit by flash rain in the Kingdom.
