King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, receiving new ambassadors to some other countries, told them to keep their door open to Saudis abroad and warned them that he would know who will not heed his advice.
The King told the envoy that they must first “feel that they represent the Kingdom and its people abroad” before embarking on their assignment.
“I advise you to serve the Saudi people…you and I should consider ourselves as servants to the Saudi people,” he told the envoys at his Riyadh palace.
“Keep your doors open to the people…we will always receive reports and will know who will shut his doors and who will open his doors to the people…what matters is that you have been appointed to serve your people, religion and nation…God bless you,” he said, according to the official media.
