Killer says he was joking

A Saudi who killed his cousin told police he was joking with him because he thought the gun was not loaded, Aljazirah newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The unnamed man, 21, was strolling with his 19-year-old cousin in the central town of Taif when he pulled his gun and aimed it at the cousin’s chest.

“He later told police that he was only joking with his cousin….he said he thought the gun was not loaded,” the paper said.
