Kuwait deports 10 expat drivers

Kuwaiti deported 10 expatriates this week after they were caught driving without licences under a new law introduced in late 2015.

Police arrested the 10 during a traffic campaign through the capital Kuwait City, resulting in the arrest of 43 other motorists for driving recklessly.

The Arabic language daily Alwatan said 1,995 cars were also seized during the campaign, in which police recorded more than 48,000 road offences.
