Landlord removes wall around ATM

A Saudi landlord demolished a wall he built around a cash machine to prevent public access to it after reaching a settlement to their dispute.

‘Sabq’ newspaper said the unnamed landlord immediately started to remove the wall after the bank agreed to pay rent for land owned by that man in the capital Riyadh.

“The landlord quickly demolished the wall after reaching a settlement with the bank and criticism by scores of readers on social networks,” the paper said.

A Saudi landlord built a wall to cordon off a cash machine owned by a local bank following a dispute between the two, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

The bank’s cash transporters coming to the machine to for money supply were surprised when they found it was beyond their reach after the construction of the wall.

“The landlord in that area built the wall to prevent access by clients after he had a dispute with the bank,” 'Ajel' daily said in a report from the capital Riyadh.
