Touch Lebanon, a leading mobile telecom company, has said in a statement that one of its network transmission links has been damaged due to the ongoing hostilities in the Saida/Sidon area, which has resulted in partial outage of its voice and 3G data connectivity in some areas.
“Due to the unfortunate hostilities occurring in Saida/Sidon and the surrounding areas, our network transmission link located near the Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque in Abraa has been damaged.
This has led to a partial voice and 3G data outage in the following areas: Roumaily, Zeena valley and Haret Saida,”the Lebanese telecom operator said on its Facebook page.
“Touch’s technical team is currently working on fixing the incident,” the operator added.
