Lift crippled by five 'well-nourished' women

A lift in a new building in Kuwait moaned and groaned before it came to a standstill between the floors, triggering a state of emergency in the area.

Firemen who forced the elevator open quickly realized what the problem was when they came face to face with five massive women.

“The five women looked very fat and experts said their weight exceeded the lift’s 400-kg capacity by nearly 100 kg,” Alanba newspaper said on Monday.
