Lightning kills 130 sheep in Saudi

Lightning killed 130 sheep crammed in a wooden enclosure at a far in Saudi Arabia during a thunderstorm that hit the western part of the Gulf Kingdom.

The lightning caused a big fire that gutted the enclosure at the farm in the western town of Laith, Sabq daily said.

“The farmer said 130 sheep perished because of the lightning…he said his losses exceeded SR200,000 (Dh195,000),” it said.
