Lion found strolling in Saudi village

Frightened residents of a Saudi village were forced to stay indoors after they saw a lioness strolling freely near their houses, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

Alert police later found that the lioness had escaped her home in a nearby farm owned by a Saudi man in the central province of Dharma, Sabq said.

“Police called the lioness’s owner and told him about her location…after a while, he managed to tame the animal and take her back to his farm,” it said.
