Saudi police arrested a Moroccan woman for torturing the seven-year-old daughter of her husband by using hot metals and forcing her to drink the washing liquid Tide.

The girl’s school teacher informed the police in the eastern town of Dammam when she noticed burns and bruises on the pupil’s body.

“She told police that she has been systematically tortured by her father’s Moroccan wife,” a relative of the girl said, quoted by Sabq newspaper.

“She said the woman had used hot metals on her body and beat her up many times…she said she was also forced many times to drink Tide.”

The paper said the father, who had divorced the girl’s mother, was also detained for interrogation for his failure to prevent the torture of his daughter.

Mentally ill girl raped by five men

Five men abducted and raped a 21-year-old Saudi girl suffering from mental illness just as she managed to sneak out of her house in the Gulf Kingdom.

The girl waited for her parents to go for Friday prayers and sneaked out of her house in the southern province of Jazan, newspapers said.

Five men suspecting the girl is not normal, bundled her in their car and took her to an isolated area, where they took turns in raping her.

Police later arrested the five, aged between 21 and 31 years, and are interrogating them before sending them to court.
