Maid accidentally shot by employer’s son

An Indonesian housemaid in Saudi Arabia was admitted to hospital after she was accidentally shot in the pelvis by her employer’s little son, a newspaper in the Gulf country reported on Monday.

The boy was playing with his father’s gun at his house in the northwestern town of Hail when he aimed it at the maid and accidentally pulled the trigger.

“Police investigated the accident and determined it was by mistake,” Okaz daily said without specifying the boy’s age.
