Maid ends life at Saudi airport

A housemaid committed a suicide by hanging herself at Jeddah international airport in Saudi Arabia to the horror of hundreds of passengers.

Police rushed to a lounge inside one of the region’s largest airports after receiving calls that a woman was hanging in the room.

Ajel newspaper quoted a police spokesman as saying the maid, in her 50s, committed a suicide by tying a piece of her clothes round her neck. He said police are investigating the case.
