Maid held in Saudi for alleged prostitution

Saudi Arabia’s religious police arrested a Filipina housemaid for targeting teen agers in her alleged prostitution activity, press reports said on Sunday.

Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, who had watched the woman after a tip-off, seized her with an 18-year-old boy at his grandmother’s house in the western town of Taif.

“The maid was targeting teen agers by tempting them to have sex with her in return for money,” Ajel newspaper said.
