Maid jumps to death from 7th floor

A Nepalese housemaid committed a suicide after jumping from the top of a seven-storey building in Kuwait, a local newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old maid was killed instantly after hitting the ground near the building in Kuwait City, Alanba said, quoting police sources.

The unnamed maid, who had worked for a Kuwaiti family residing on the fifth floor, climbed up to the roof of the building and hurled herself down, the paper added without mentioning the reasons for the suicide.
