A Saudi man committed a suicide by hanging himself inside a mosque in the Gulf kingdom as he was suffering from mental problems caused after he killed a child in a road accident four years ago, a newspaper said on Sunday.
A mosque cleaner in the western province of Mahd Al-Dhahab found the unidentified man, in his 20s, hanged in the mosque toilet in the central town of Mahd Al Dhahab.
“Sources close to the man said the suicide is apparently linked to his mental suffering caused after he killed a child while driving four years ago,” 'Alwatan' daily said.
“The man’s condition began to get worse four months ago…he was supposed to move to a new job two days ago but committed a suicide at the mosque while he was getting ready for dawn prayers.”
