Man dies before deportation from Saudi

A Yemeni man staying illegally in Saudi Arabia died of heart attack at a police centre in the Gulf Kingdom just before he was to be deported to his country, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Police had seized the unnamed man along with other illegal residents in the southern province of Jazan close to the border with Yemen and locked them up pending the completion of deportation measures, Okaz said.

“The man died of a heart attack while in detention…his body will be deported to Yemen after the completion of the necessary procedures.”
