Man divorces wife for being 'romantic'

A Saudi husband divorced his wife at the airport after she tried to hold his arm to show him she is a romantic woman.

The man was with his wife at the airport when she grabbed his arm and started to tell him “sweet” words when he went mad and divorced her.

“I know this man,” Saudi Islamic and social researcher Abdul Aziz Al Zeer said during a programme on state Saudi television channel.

“When she did that, he angrily told her to leave his arm but she would not…he then divorced her and later he said he regretted what he did.”
