Man gets 15 lashes for slapping school teacher

A Saudi man was lashed 15 times with the whip after slapping a school teacher following an argument about his son, a newspaper said on Monday.

The unnamed man slapped the teacher in the face in front of other teachers at a public school in the central town of Makkah after an argument about the low marks given to his son, who studies at that school.

“A court in Makkah sentenced the man to 15 lashes…he was lashed at a local prison in the presence of the teacher,” Burnews daily said.
