Man gets speed ticket in area he never visited

A Saudi driver was surprised when he received a ticket for speeding in the capital Riyadh although he has never been there, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

Nayef Al Rouli said he lives in the northwestern Saudi town of Jouf and that he has never been to the capital.

“I received the fine on my mobile phone that my car was caught speeding by a police camera…I objected online but I have not received any response,” he told ‘Ajel’ Daily.
