Man held in Saudi for claiming to be prophet
Saudi police arrested a 40-year-old Arab man found to be disturbing the public and claiming to be a prophet, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.
Police rushed to the seaside area in the Western Medina town after receiving calls that a man was uttering "bizarre" words, the Arabic language daily Almadina said.
"The police arrested the man after he told them that he is a messenger of God…they then took him to the psychiatrist," the paper said.
