Saudi authorities arrested a local man and seized his car after he stuck the picture of late Iraqi president Saddam Hussein on the rear glass.
Police had deployed many patrols in search for the Toyota Lexus after receiving a report that it was roaming through the streets of the western town of Taif with Saddam’s image stuck on its rear glass.
Sabq newspaper said the police were informed that the car had paraded through the city’s streets for two days as the Gulf Kingdom marked its national day.
“On the second day, police found the car parked in a neighborhood in the city…they seized it and summoned its owner for interrogation,” it said.
