Man in Saudi tortures fox and shoots it

A Saudi man grabbed a fox by the neck and nearly strangled it before he hurled it on the ground and shot it, in the second such incident in the Gulf kingdom in two weeks.

The man grabbed the little struggling fox and screamed that he was doing this to protest the imprisonment of another man he called “Abu Hawas” for torturing a fox last week.

“This is the damn thing which led to the imprisonment of Abu Hawas…damn you,” he shouted at the fox before he threw it away and shot it.

Sada newspaper said the incident took place in the northwestern town of Rafha, the home town of the so-called Abu Hawas who was sought by the police last week he was seen in a YouTube film torturing a fox on the grounds it ate his chicken.
