Man jailed 3 years for offering his body online

A Saudi court sentenced a man to three years in prison and fined him SR100,000 (Dh100,000) after he was found guilty of offering his body to other men on Facebook.

Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice had arrested the man following complaints by some men that he was offering his body to them free. He also published his nude picture on his Facebook page.

“Commission members also found pictures and texts sent by the man through his mobile phones to possible customers,” Sabq newspaper said in a report from the Eastern Saudi port of Dammam.
