Man killed after falling in lift chute

A Yemeni worker was killed after falling into a lift chute in an 11-level building under construction in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

Civil defence and police rushed to the site in the western Saudi town of Makkah after receiving a report about the accident.

Ajel Arabic language newspaper said police opened an investigation into Tuesday’s incident but gave no other details.
