Man killed in 300-metre car fall in Saudi

An Egyptian man was killed when his car plunged nearly 300 metres into an abyss in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Monday.

The unnamed man was driving in a rugged area to inspect workers at a project in his company when he lost control of his vehicle.

“The car slid on a curve and plunged nearly 300 metres into the valley. Civil defence managed to retrieve the body,” Sabq daily said in a report from south Saudi Arabia.
