Man kills Raqi for 'cheating' his wife

A Yemeni used his gun to kill a Raqi (spiritual healer) in a public place on the grounds he cheated his wife instead of treating her.

Police chased the killer and arrested him after he emptied seven bullets into the Raqi’s body in the middle of the road in the western Yemeni town of Hudaydah.

“He confessed to killing the Raqi…he told investigators that he did so because he discovered that the Raqi was only cheating his wife instead of treating her,” police spokesman Lt Colonel Ismail Qadouri said without specifying the wife’s illness.
