Man murders wife... for having plastic surgery

A Lebanese man living in Australia killed his wife after she had a plastic surgery and her family said the husband had often beaten up his wife before murdering her.

George Tannous used a scissors to stab his wife in the head just after she had a plastic surgery before turning himself over to the police in Sidney.

Lebanon’s MTV satellite TV channel said the wife, Margaret, has just returned home when she saw her husband waiting with a scissors. “He stabbed her in the face and head and said to her ‘I will make you beautiful.”

MTV ran a film about the murder which it said drew angry reaction from the victim’s family in Lebanon.
