Man stabs dad in Saudi during argument

A young Saudi man stabbed his father during a heated argument at their home in the Gulf Kingdom but the father was saved by hospital surgeons.

Police arrested the son after he fled home in the Southern town of Samitah while the father remained bed-ridden at hospital after a surgery.

Ajel newspaper said the father suffered from serious abdomen stab wounds and was taken to the intensive care unit after the operation.
