Man stabs two policemen

A man stabbed two Saudi Islamic police men after they tried to arrest him for having an illegitimate meeting with a girl, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Wednesday.

The two members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice found the Saudi couple in a car parked near a deserted road in the central town of Onaiza, Okaz said.

"They tried to arrest the couple for having an illegitimate meeting…the man pulled a knife and stabbed the two, who have been admitted to hospital," the paper said without making clear if the couple were arrested.
