Man throws acid on divorced woman

A Saudi man in disguise went into the house of a divorced woman and threw acid on her, her little daughter and her mother, after she refused to marry him.

Police in the Saudi town of Makkah said the woman and her mother were hospitalised with serious injuries on the face and body, while the child suffered burns in her leg.

‘Makkah’ Arabic language newspaper said the attacker, in his 30s, fled the area but was caught later.
