A Saudi man whose nine-year-old son was slapped by in class was told by an annoyed teacher to take a flight and complain to the minister of education.
The man went to complain to the management of a public school in the western town of Taif that a new teacher slapped his son in the face just because he asked him if he was the mathematics teacher.
The school head assured him that he would investigate the issue but the man insisted on seeing the teacher.
“He kept going to school to see the teacher but could not as he was told the teacher was away for a training course,” Al-Taif newspaper said.
“In the end, he managed to see that teacher….when he talked to him, the teacher was annoyed and said he should not have chased him for one week just because of a slap…he also told the man to get into his car and see the minister…he then told him it would be better and quicker to take the plane.”
