An Egyptian husband seeking to divorce his wife revealed to the judge that he had tried to commit a suicide twice because of her sharp tongue.
The man said he had never seen one happy day since he married his wife four years ago, adding that he had stood her only for the sake of their autistic daughter.
“I tried to end my life twice to get rid of her sharp tongue and cruel treatment…she just creates problems and troubles to make me hysterical,” said the man, identified as Sayyed by Egypt’s Arabic language daily Alyoum Alsabei.
“I made the biggest mistake in my life when I decided to marry this woman, who never stops moaning and nagging,” he added.
