Man with 'tramadol belt' in Kuwait

Kuwaiti customs men arrested an Egyptian man who tried to smuggle nearly 30,000 tramadol pills by hiding them in a plastic belt wrapped around his body.

A customs official at Kuwait’s international airport suspected the passenger arriving in the oil-rich emirate when he noticed bulges under his shirt.

“The passenger was taken to a private room and subjected to a search. Customs found a plastic belt wrapped around his body and containing nearly 30,000 tramadol tablets,” ‘Al Anba’ daily said.
