An Egyptian butcher suffered from serious hand injuries after it was caught inside a meat mincer at his shop in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Monday.

Civil defence men called to the market in the southern province of Asir used cutters and other tools to pull the butcher’s hand out of the machine after a lengthy operation.

“The civil defence succeeded in freeing the man’s hand from the machine but they said it suffered from serious injuries,” 'Ajel' Arabic language daily said.
