Missing autistic child found dead near swing in Saudi

A six-year-old Saudi boy suffering from autism was found dead near his favorite swing a few days after he went missing in the Gulf Kingdom.

Raed Abdul Raqib was found by his uncle lying dead near the swing close to his house in the Western Saudi Red port of Jeddah.

“He loved to play at the swing. We found him dead just near the swing,” his uncle said, quoted by the Arabic language daily 'Sabq'.

It did not mention the cause of the boy’s death but said it was the second case involving the death of an autistic child in a week. A little girl suffering from autism was found dead in a water tank in the central town of Al Kharj last week.
