Missing falcon back to owner after two months

A Kuwaiti man who lost his falcon nearly two months ago was reunited with his bird after it was found by a Saudi border patrol inside the Gulf kingdom, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The falcon, described by his unnamed owner as “very expensive” was returned by the Saudi patrol which found his mobile phone number tagged to its leg, the online daily 'Sabq' said.

“We saw the falcon in Hafr Al Batin area near the Kuwaiti border…we managed to capture it and found his owner’s mobile phone number tagged to its leg,” Saudi border guard spokesman Colonel Mohammed Al Gamdi told the paper.

“We phoned that number and it was in Kuwait…its owner described it for them and we told him to come and take it back.”
