Missing US boy found near restaurant in Saudi

A 14-year-old American boy who had gone missing for four days in Saudi Arabia was found near a local restaurant and police said no abduction was involved.

The boy disappeared on Tuesday just after he went out of his house in the eastern Saudi port of Dammam, triggering a massive search operation by the police.

“A police patrol found the boy near a restaurant in Dammam on Friday…it is just a case of being absent from home,” police spokesman in the Eastern province Colonel Ziad al Rugaiti said, quoted by ‘Sabq’ newspaper.
