Mixed grills… with a cockroach

A Saudi man fancying grills for dinner went into a famous restaurant in the Gulf kingdom and bought a meal before rushing home to enjoy the food.

But his excitement turned into a shock then to fury when he spotted a large dead cockroach in the meat just before he put a piece into his mouth.
Omar Al Harthi said he rushed back to the restaurant in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah and began shouting as they lined up the in front of him to apologize.

“I did not accept their apology because this has to do with human health…I quickly phoned health authorities who sent an inspector and gave the restaurant a notice,” Al Harthi told the Arabic language daily Sabq. “I had expected the authorities to immediately shut down the restaurant but they only gave it a warning.”
