Mom gets quadruplets after 6-year wait in Saudi

A Saudi woman who had waited for a baby since she married more than six years ago gave birth to quadruplets at hospital in the Gulf Kingdom.

Newspaper said the woman delivered four girls in a Cesarean operation at a government hospital in the western Red Sea port of Jeddah on Wednesday.

Their father A. Al Zahrani said he decided to call the girls “Jomana, Joury, Raseel and Rafeef”, adding that he was very happy for having four babies.

 

Saudi woman runs over husband by accident  

A Saudi woman influenced by a recent campaign by women to drive cars got behind the wheel while on a picnic with her husband and wanted to reverse back to drive.

Instead, she shifted to the first gear and the car jumped forward to run over her husband.The Saudi man and his wife have just arrived in a park in the southern town of Belgrashy for the week end when the woman asked him if she can try and drive.

“Instead of moving the car in a reverse gear, she shifted to the first gear..the car hit her husband violently, throwing him against the pavement and killing him instantly,” the Saudi Arabic language daily Okaz said.
