Mom killed just after daughter’s graduation

A Saudi girl’s delight after her graduation from the university turned into tragedy when her mother who was with her was killed in a road accident.

Kawthar Al Salam has just received her graduation certificate from the university in the Eastern Saudi port of Dammam and headed for her waiting brother across the road.

“Kawthar and her mother tried to cross the street but were run over by a speeding car…she was seriously injured while her mother died on the spot,” Sada daily said.
